Looe is reknowned for its local restaurants, colourful boutiques and bustling waterfront. Recently featured as the setting of Shipton Abbott in the popular BBC show, Beyond Paradise, Looe is rich in maritime history, and famous for its sandy beaches, locally caught seafood, coastal walks and scenic woodland. Numerous boat trips are available, including speed boats, mackerel fishing, trips around Looe Island and to Polperro. Situated on the more quieter side of West Looe, The Annexe is away from the hustle and bustle of the town. However, it takes just a few minutes walk to cross the seven-arched Victorian bridge to reach the bustling and vibrant side of East Looe. At high tide, there are also regular taxi boats available to take you the short trip across the harbour.

Welcome to The Annexe

The Annexe is a one bedroom maisonette, set in a private courtyard and located next to the harbour. As you enter, the kitchen includes all the facilities you would expect; oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge etc. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, the bedroom includes a king size bed, sofa and TV (Netflix incl); all linen and towels and a hairdryer are provided. There is free Wifi. Sadly, the Annexe is not suitable for dogs.

Nearby there is a local Spar convenience store, as well as a Deli a little further up the hill. Enjoy food and live music at The Jolly Sailor, Looe’s oldest pub (Thursday nights are Sea Shanty nights), and if you continue to walk along the quay you’ll come to The Sardine Factory, a heritage site and Michelin seafood restaurant.
